The Three Mothers (Maiden, Mother, Crone) are not just symbols of the cycles of growth upon the Earth, they also represent phases we physically go through, cycles of events within our lives.
Sometimes we are uncertain as to where we actually are in a cycle of events. This can be frustrating and depressing. We may have to endure until the completion of the cycle, but it's comforting to have some idea of where you are in that cycle. If you are observant, wise enough to seek guidance, and willing to make changes, however painful, you can often shorten the cycle.
This divination ritual (which uses tarot cards) is best done during the waxing or Full Moon, but in a pinch can be performed any time...

Gypsy Justice Spell
If the law has treated you unfairly, invoke this spell and justice will be done.
Take the Justice card from a Tarot deck. Now light a blue candle and place the Justice card on the right-hand side. Write your name and address on an unused piece of white or green paper and place it to the left of the candle. Romanies sometimes use their thumb-print instead of their name and address...

The Fool
The Fool is the spirit in search of experience. He represents the mystical cleverness bereft of reason within us, the childlike ability to tune into the inner workings of the world. The sun shining behind him represents the divine nature of the Fool's wisdom and exuberance, holy madness or 'crazy wisdom'. On his back are all the possessions he might need. In his hand there is a flower, showing his appreciation of beauty. He is frequently accompanied by a dog, sometimes seen as his animal desires, sometimes as the call of the "real world", nipping at his heels and distracting him. He is seemingly unconcerned that he is standing on a precipice, apparently about to step off....

All Fools' Day
The practice of playing tricks on April 1st dates back to 15th century France, when the New Year was moved from March 25th and the beginning of Spring, to January 1st.
This was so unpopular that people began sending officials on "fool's errands" in retaliation. However, this is a good day to consider the nature of the Fool and his associations with The Craft....
