Reconnecting Your Inner Mother and Father

I don't often go in for channeled information, but this talk, or guided meditation, channelled through David Brown. can be a useful tool to reconnect with your inner parents. And there is a great explanation as to why this is important. So, here goes:

Greetings dear ones, for I AM KRYON of Magnetic Service.

Once again it is wonderful to be here on this warm summer night. There is much love in the air; the planets are shifting, creating the right circumstances for you to meet your soul mates, your twin flames. Love is the only way and you will find love within another person. True love can only really be expressed through another person or other people and joy is an emotion you will experience in your relationships with others and by being with others. As we have said in past channellings, love will always find a way. Like the tiny drop of water that falls from a cloud and makes its way back to the ocean. Remember, love and joy are intimately connected....

Clear Away The Old With Crystals

There are many aspects of our lives which we would like to improve, but we just can't muster up the willpower. In your time of need, a crystal can come to your aid.

You can program a crystal to help you lose weight stop smoking or overcome any negative attitudes about yourself. For example, you want to stop eating chocolate but just can't. You know you should stop for health reasons but you don't have the will power....

The Bendideia of Bendis

At the outbreak of the Peloponnesian War, the Athenians allowed the founding of a sanctuary for the Goddess Bendis and shortly afterward created a state festival, the Bendideia, for her.The first celebration was held on the 19th of Thargelion (May–June), 429 bc, at the Piraeus, the seaport of Athens. Many pagan calendars list June 6th as the modern equivalent date for this festival honoring the Moon Goddess of Thrace. Other sources give that her festivals were held on the full moon preceeding or coinciding with the solstice - and if so, the dates would vary from year to year.

For a description of the festival we have this excerpt of a conversation between Socrates and a friend describing that festival (from Plato's Republic)...

Herbal Amulets

Herbs are often worn or carried in order to tap their specific powers. Following are several traditional herbal amulets, some of which are questionable, some fanciful, but all fascinating and potentially useful.

• To See Ghosts: Carry lavender and inhale its scent.
• To Allay Fear: Carry a mixture of nettle and yarrow.

Juno Safety and Shelter Spell

Juno may be petitioned for safety and shelter. Her ancient Roman temples housed shelters for abused wives. Herein though is the catch: Juno is intrinsically tied to legal marital rites. You must actually be legally wed to request her assistance with this matter...

June Spells and Rituals

The month June was, according to some sources, named after the Roman goddess Juno, wife of Jupiter, the goddess of marriage and a married couple's household. June is known for the large number of marriages that occur over the course of the month, perhaps because it is considered good luck to be married in the month dedicated to marriage. Interestingly, in various calendars, June is also called the season of the unicorn.
