Current News

I am currently in the process of migrating the content shared here to a series of new websites hosted at shirleytwofeathers.com.

As you explore this site, you may find links to a "page not found" instead of something cool and magickal. For this I apologize. I am very working hard behind the scenes to restore those pages along with a link to their homes on my new website where they can be viewed in full.

I like the choices here. Lots of "food for thought" is offered.

I'm glad you enjoyed the list.

I hadn't looked at this post for a while, and you've reminded me that I have found a few more books to add to this list.

Thanks for commenting! I'll get the list updated this week.

IAM A GYPSY , AND I NEVER HEARD OF THIS CRAP, YOUR JUST SELLING ALL THIS INFO TO MAKE MONEY WITH GOOGLES,
MAGIC IS FROM THE DEVIL , NOT GYPSYS,CALL YOUR PAGE DEVILS MAGIC OR SATAN,EVERYBODY THINKS THEY KNOW ALL ABOUT THE GYPSYS AND EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE ONE,I AM A REAL GYPSY AND NOTHING ON THE PAGE IS TRUE, .

To the person above:
This page and website is regarding romany witchcraft or "gypsy witchcraft" , which is indeed real and a historical fact. You can be a "gypsy" and not practice the romany form of witchcraft. As for your comment that magic is from the devil/satan, you cannot make that comment when you do not understand witchcraft, when you research it and understand it, then you can make the informed decision whether you think witchcraft is from the devil or not, and when you do, it is still an opinion and not a fact.

I'm not sure if you're still updating your Gypsy Magic blog but I greatly appreciate it! I am an avid fan of Old World nicknames of common herbs for medicinal and culinary use alike and I have experienced trouble on references on this subject. The most I've found is "Powdered Bee's Wing" for cream of tartar. Thank you SO MUCH for the herb references AND the suggested reading. ^_^ I intend to employ your knowledge on creating new labels for my spice rack in my kitchen.

I enjoy your blog. Actually, I have an amulet owned once by a gypsy witch named Piroska Gulachi. An elder gave her the amulet. Fortunately, the amulet was traded down to me. I need help to solve the mystery of the amulet from all magic practitioners here. To find out further about it, please visit my blog at "Piroska Gulachi Amulet"
