Taeborum marks the first full moon of the Lunar New Year in Korea (see Sol) and is at least as important as that holiday. Many customs and games are traditional on this day, which is also sometimes called the Great Fifteenth. The Fifteenth, or Full Moon Day, marks the end of the New Year season in Korea and is regarded as the final opportunity to ensure good luck for the coming year...

An ancient Mesopotamian incantation for when you need to keep your cool sexually. Especially useful if you are working on a period of celibacy or abstinence.
Arousal is coming upon me like a wild bull,

Like a wolf it is full of fury....

Seated On Her Thighs
The purpose of this ancient Mesopotamion love charm is to enable a man to win a woman´s favor by a magical procedure. If you can decifer the directions (hidden in the incantation) - it might actually work.
Ea loves the love charm,
The love charm, son of Ishtar,
Seated on her thighs, in the sapflow of the incense-tree
... you two beautiful maidens
You are come into bloom, you went down to the garden,
To the garden you went down
You cut the sapflow of the incense-tree...

This ancient Mesopotamian encantation is a spell on behalf of an Entu Priestess who is in love with a man called Erra-bani. The encantation appears to be form of call and response, and is for invoking a strong sexual attraction.

I Have Made A Bed
This sexy incantation comes from Ancient Mesopotamia.
Potency, potency, potency! I have made a bed for potency!

Get Up And Love Me
With this ancient incantation, the sorcerer takes control of the woman. Her clothes are to turn into an impromptu bower, her bed a covered spot for a tryst, and, if she is asleep when the spell is wrought, her own couch will unceremoniously awaken her to send her off to the embrace of her admirer.
I have seized you, I have seized you, I will not let you go!
As pitch holds fast to boat,
As Sin to Ur, as Shamash ...

Ancient Love Magick
Perhaps one of the most ill understood and belittled types of Everyday/Mundane Magic is exactly Love Magic, that is, the Magic one makes use of to attract Love, Sex and Emotions to one's life. I myself cannot understand why so many sneer at it. Frankly, I find the act of casting a spell and making Magic to attract one's Heart Desire and Soul Counterpart one of the most serious and divine acts of worshiping the gods in a human being. Just recall a time when you were deeply in love and you will remember how human it felt and yet so close to god(dess)head. It felt like this both ways too, because the keyword for eternity as far as love is concerned is reciprocation.
To be truly in love is an act of complementarity that transcends all dualities, it is the Pursuit of Pleasure, a joyous and willing surrender of selves in a Battle where both partners are winners, it is sharing, intimacy and play. Who teaches whom, it is impossible to say. Lover and Beloved become united in the Explosion of Senses, Tastes, Textures and Colors, in the Adventure of Lovemaking, physical and emotional to experience then the Divine manifest within and without themselves. Have you ever thought that the Universe is always making love to itself, ever changing, and that this is also called Evolution?
Therefore, as far as my experience goes, love and lovemaking ...

St Gobnatt
Gobnatt / Domna. The Irish saint, Gobnatt, is a version of the deity Domna, patroness of sacred stones and cairns.
Gobnait was born in County Clare in the 5th or 6th Century, and is said to have been the sister of Saint Abban. She fled a family feud, taking refuge at Inisheer in the Aran Islands. Here an angel appeared and told her that this was "not the place of her resurrection" and that she should look for a place where she would find nine white deer grazing....
Celtic lore held bees in high esteem believing the soul left the body as a bee or a butterfly. Gobnait added beekeeping to her life’s work developing a lifelong affinity with them. She started a religious order and dedicated her days to helping the sick, probably using honey as a healing aid....

Snowdrops Lore
Snowdrops are often assigned to the month of January, and I'm not sure why because these little flowers are also known as “Candlemas Bells”. February 2nd is Candlemas (Festival Day of Candles), and Imbolc. The ancient festival marks the midpoint of winter and some recognize it as the last day of the forty day Christmas season.

February - Magickal History
Some say that the name of the month of February comes from the Roman goddess Februa, who was also known as Juno Februa. Others say that the name came from the god Februus, who was later identified with the Roman Pluto or Dis.
The month of February, truly a month of ice in many parts of the Northern Hemisphere, is a dormant time, when all activity and life appears to be low-key or below the surface movement. In both the Celtic and Roman cultures, it was a time of spiritual purification and initiation. The country of Tibet celebrated the conception of Buddha and the Feast of Flowers during this time of year.
February can be an ideal time for dedicating or re-dedicating oneself to whatever deity or deities one worships....
