Eostre's Bunny

The Easter Bunny has its origin in the tradition of honoring of rabbits during spring as an animal sacred to the goddess Eostre. According to lore, she is the goddess of spring who presides over the birth of babies, both animal and human, and of the pollination, flowering and ripening of fruits in the plant kingdom.

The modern belief that eggs are delivered by a rabbit, comes from a popular Pagan legend about Eostre. According to the legend, Eostre was walking one fine spring day and came upon a beautiful little bird. The poor bird's wing was badly injured and Eostre, feeling great compassion for the little creature, wanted to heal it....

Night is tremendously beautiful. It is a good time for meditation. It helps you release the tensions of the day easily and effortlessly. This particular meditation will increase your connection to the Zee Energy inherent in darkness, starlight, and moonlight.

Here's a very simple, very effective meditation:

Before you go to bed at night, alone or with a partner, sit silently, look into the darkness. Become one with the dark, disappear into it. Look at the stars....

Inner Cosmos Meditation

From the space of stillness, something beautiful can flower. Life can be a song, a dance.. from that space of stillness... Where you become magnet of abundance at all levels.

How to attain that stillpoint? Concentrate the energy on the Hara, the point two inches below the navel.

That is the center from where one enters life and that is the center from where one dies and goes out of life. So that is the contact center between the body and the soul. If you feel a sort of wavering left and right and you don’t know where your center is, that simply shows that you are no longer in contact with your Hara, so you have to create that contact...

Spring Full Moon Ritual

Spring is finally arriving, and there's a different sort of feeling in the air. The frigid cold of winter has been replaced by the promise of new life and growth, and a spring full moon is a magical time. It's a season that offers a chance at fertility and abundance, rebirth and regrowth. Whether you're celebrating March's Crow Moon, the Wind Moon of April, or May's Flower Moon, the focus in Spring's lunar cycles is that of the element Water.

Here's How:

Along with the sun, water helps bring life back to the earth. It is the source of much of our existence, and helps to cleanse and purify us. It can both destroy us and heal us. In ancient times, the well or spring was often seen as a sacred and holy place -- a place in which we could truly bathe in the touch of the Divine. To celebrate the arrival of Spring's full moons, we acknowledge and honor the many aspects of Water....

Celebrate the Wind Moon

In April, the thunderstorms of March are beginning to subside, and the wind picks up. Seeds are being blown about on the breezes, spreading life all around from one place to the next. In fact, this month's full moon is the aptly named Wind Moon, although in some traditions this lunar cycle is often known as the Seed Moon....
