The Birthday of Osiris

Depending on which expert you believe, Osiris birthday falls either on July the 14th or 27, and it is customary to light a royal-blue candle and burn frankincense and myrrh as an offering to the God who is also known as Lord of the Far World.

Based on the Numerology that I practice, I cast my vote for The Birthday of Osiris as July 27. The July 14 date is one plus four equals five and the number 5 is usually associated with "Adventure."

The July 27 date is two plus seven and that equals Nine, which is considered "The Number Of Completion," and sometimes said to represent, "Death."
